SCRAMscreens Prominent at Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3).
May 19, 2005
LOS ANGELES, CA - SCRAMscreens, a product of SCRAM Technologies, Inc. (www.scramtech.com), were displayed in prominent booths at the recent Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) held in Los Angeles from May 17-19th.

With a custom frame by Large Screen Displays (LSD), four 130" diagonal SCRAMscreens were tiled in a 2x2 configuration to make one jumbo screen 24 feet in diagonal. For future use, this design allows each screen to be used individually as well.

Two 82 inch diagonal SCRAMscreens in LSD Projected Image Enclosures were used for game demonstrations. An additional three 82 inch SCRAMscreens were also incorporated into the exterior design of another gaming booth.

SCRAMscreens were chosen for price as well as performanance and showed that rear projection screens can compete with plasma and LED displays when those important features are a consideration. Because SCRAMscreens have superior transmission efficiency, high contrast and brightness can be accomplished with economical lower lumen projectors without compromising results. Also, when compared to large high definition LED displays, the SCRAMscreen® is a fraction of the cost.

According to a recent Weinstock Media Analysis Digital Signage Report, the market for technology sales alone is estimated to be $2.2B by 2008. The potential for digital signage at large trade shows, such as E3, is over 5 thousand venues a year in North America alone. It is SCRAM Technologies' intention to capitalize on this potential.

About SCRAM Technologies Inc.: SCRAM Technologies, Inc. designs and manufactures high-contrast rear projection screens that are exceptionally transmission efficient. The SCRAMscreen® can provide high contrast, high brightness, wide viewing angles, modularity and more. The SCRAMscreen®'s resolution is limited only by the imaging source and can be tiled in a virtually seamless manner to a variety of sizes, making them ideal for large-format displays. Whatever the display requirements, SCRAMscreen® technology provides a performance-enhancing, cost-effective, innovative platform for a wide range of display applications.
