C. - At their annual shareholder's meeting today, SCRAM Technologies, Inc. announced the appointment of Mr. Richard Sharp, as Chairman of the Board, effective January 1, 2003. He replaces Chairman Deborah Wince-Smith, who presided over the original Board of Directors since 1998 and has served as the organization's founding Chairman of the Board since then. "Ms. Wince-Smith's leadership was pivotal to SCRAM's development from a startup company to a commercial entity," said Ray Kwong, president and CEO of SCRAM Technology, Inc. "Her experience with our National Laboratories and the Department of Commerce were crucial as our company grew into the innovative commercial organization that it is today. We thank Deborah for all she helped us to accomplish and we are fortunate that she will remain as a board member through 2003."
